Portfolio – EXLAB

Georgia State University

EXLAB is a collaborative environment centered around experiential learning, creativity, and innovation. It is community driven and hosts a variety of student-led workshops based on the requests of Georgia State University students. EXLAB is the first makerspace at the university to include all student, staff, and faculty from all departments and disciplines.

Sample of EXLAB Events

These event banners were posted on EXLAB’s Social Media. The events and visuals for marketing were a collaborative effort of EXLAB staff and student assistants lead by Liz Chavarria. Reoccurring or frequent workshops were denoted in blue. Special events, volunteer run workshops, online workshops, and guest maker series were highlighted using the same template in the correlating color for the event. Consistency in EXLAB imagery and branding was reflected on all online platforms. Platforms included multiple Georgia State webpages, Eventbrite, Instructables, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
