Here are a few highlights from my smaller combat builds. I am working to grow my skills as both a builder and driver. I enjoy being pit crew for others when I am not competing which helps me to improve my own robots. I have competed at NHRL, Maker Battle, RCE, and MassDestruction.
Little Miss Doomba V4
From the lessons learned on V3 I fully redesigned this build to enhance the strength of the body and to reduce pit time after a fight by creating easily interchangeable parts that could swapped out.
Little Miss Doomba V3
I used inspiration from other combat robots and did some modification in this design to adapt for the different materials used. However, those modifications were not enough, so this design was completely scraped for V4.
Little Miss Doomba V1-2
I used free CAD online to make these robots. Since I was just getting started making my own, I wanted to first understand a little about what preferences I have as a driver and builder. This gave me a good jumping off point to start and I got to experience the full building and fighting process as the lead of my very own team.
